Limitation of Liability

Authorization of Service: By leaving your vehicle with Grand Automotive and Tires, you authorize our technicians to perform the repair services, diagnostics, and required test drives detailed in your service order. You further acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Pre-Existing Conditions

Grand Automotive and Tires shall not be held liable for any pre-existing mechanical, electrical, or structural defects. Furthermore, we assume no responsibility for the unexpected failure of fragile, aged, or worn components (including, but not limited to, brittle hoses, rusted hardware, or degraded wiring) that may occur during the normal course of handling and repair.

2. Personal Property

We are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property, valuables, or any articles left inside or attached to the vehicle. Please remove all valuable items prior to service.

3. Customer-Supplied Parts

In the event that a customer provides their own aftermarket or OEM parts for installation, Grand Automotive and Tires offers no warranty on the labor or the parts themselves. The customer agrees to hold the facility harmless for any subsequent damage, performance failures, or cascading mechanical issues caused by customer-supplied parts.

4. Test Drives & Vehicle Operation

You grant express permission for the employees of Grand Automotive and Tires to operate your vehicle on public streets, highways, or designated testing areas for diagnostic evaluation and quality-control purposes.

5. Storage Fees & Mechanic's Liens

An express mechanic's lien is hereby acknowledged on the vehicle to secure the total amount due for repairs and services rendered. Vehicles not retrieved within three (3) business days following the notice of service completion may be subject to daily storage fees at the prevailing facility rate.
